Mansur Mehta, founder and Managing Director of MRL Group, Cold Rush Logistics, and Suba Group of Hotels, is a global entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience. Under his leadership, Mehta Road Lines grew from a single tanker operation into a logistics powerhouse, including Cold Rush Logistics with 18 cold storage warehouses and 350+ refrigerated trucks. He expanded into hospitality with Hotel Suba Palace in 1994 and now oversees over 100 properties with 5,100 rooms under the Suba brand. Mehta blends innovative thinking with a focus on affordable luxury and is dedicated to corporate social responsibility, reflecting his commitment to both growth and societal well-being.

Mubeen Mehta

Chief Executive Officer

Mubeen Mehta is a dynamic entrepreneur and CEO of Mehta Road Lines, Cold Rush Logistics, and the Suba/Click/1589 Group of Hotels. He merges traditional business values with modern strategies, thanks to his background in hotel administration from Cornell University. Known for his meticulous focus on goals and adaptability, Mubeen is regarded as the "Gen Next CEO." He champions technological advancement, exemplified by his development of TESC, a supply chain app, and is committed to making his businesses both financially stable and technologically self-sufficient. His leadership emphasizes quality, micro-analysis, and efficient time management. Outside of work, Mubeen is an avid footballer and draws inspiration from visionaries like Elon Musk, driving his passion for innovation and excellence.

Chandrakant Shetty

Chief Operating Officer

A seasoned hotelier with 24 years of diverse experience, Chandrakant Shetty is known for his expertise in hotel setup, business administration, and strategic planning. His career spans key leadership roles at The Orchid, Lotus, and Fort hotels at Kamat Hotels India Limited, and as CEO and Group Director for Vitizen Hotels and Kamat Restaurant Chain. Shetty's strategic vision and leadership have driven significant growth and profitability across multiple renowned hotel brands.

Senior VP – Business Development

Over 23 years of experience in Hospitality Investment Advisory & Business Financing, New Business Development & Real Estate valuation. A Business Strategy specialist with expertise in Growth & Development, Fund Raising, Startup Culture and Hotel Asset Management.
Worked with International Property Consulting firms, Hotel Companies and Real Estate Developers in SE Asia across a broad and diverse range of hospitality-led portfolios and business strategies.

Subodh Kumar

Vice President Development

Subodh Kumar, the Vice President Development at Suba Hotels, boasts 24 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. He has a robust academic foundation. Prior to joining Suba Hotels, he gained valuable experience at Several Upscale & Mid Scale Hotels including Marriott Hotels ,Starwood Hotels, Club Mahindra Resorts and Dream Cruise Liners at several international and National locations. Subodh is passionate about Hospitality & traveling to new destinations,meeting people and creating Long term associations.

Abinash Ashok

Vice President Operations

Abinash Ashok, the Vice President of Operations at Suba Hotels, boasts 22 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. With a B.Tech in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) from Nagpur University, he has a robust academic foundation. Prior to joining Suba Hotels, he gained valuable experience at ITC Fortune and Surya Palace (Grand Mercure). Appointed as General Manager in 2013, he has steadily risen to his current role. Ashok is passionate about traveling to new destinations, meeting people, and fitness.

Capable in planning, supervising and managing the entire operations including New Set Ups, Budgeting, Sales &Marketing, Procurement and Maintenance Of Inventory Levels For Smooth Functioning Of All Departments.

Homiyar Mohta

Vice President - Mumbai

Homiyar Mohta, a B.Com graduate from Mumbai University (1985), has been with Suba Group of Hotels since 2003. With a career in hospitality beginning in 1989, including stints at Oberoi and Fariyas, Mohta brings vast experience to his role. He is passionate about sports, especially table tennis, and actively engages in social activities and coaching young players.
